Sh*t Happens ......DP2 Challenge #141

This weeks challenge at DP2 is "Straight From The Heart" 

This card was made and sent straight from our 's to a our very gorgeous neighbour Nana.  Now, Nana isn't really our biological Nana, but is our Nana in every other way .  She has recently been diagnosed with cancer , we couldn't send her a "get well" card and didn't want to send a "thinking of you" card, the next best thing has to be a "sh*t happens" card! 

I used " On The Pot (Girl)" for my card  with the fabulous sentiment from Create with TLC ...

and a fabulous verse on the inside along with on the pot girl again ...

Not only did we take the card and sweets, we also took a bear I made for Nana so she was never alone.  The bear was named "half bear" ... because DH and Paula met him when he was half made!

It's Fun Being A Kid ......DP2 Challenge #140

Where have I been?  What have I been doing?     Well , over the past 2 weeks, i've been away for a few days, met my Auntie and Uncle for the very first time , spent quality time with my cousins, re-done  Dad's greenhouse, brought plants for our garden, 6 doors and made a teddy bear

Bubbles Of Love .....

Paula has complained that I'm not updating my blog often enough  .... now I'm not quite sure why she wants me to do this cos its not really as though we don't see each other everyday  ...So here goes ....

After a really crappy day on Wednesday, missing  Dad and having lots of , I decided that the rest of the week would be spent partaking in a little retail therapy  of one sort or another.  Thursday we did the local charity/vintage shop and brought a few bits and bobs for the grandbabies.  Friday we really went for it and did the charity/vintage shops in the local town.  I got a pair of Next cropped jeans for £2.99 and a brand new, never worn bra for 99p! .  Today we went to the next town and also ventured into the charity/vintage shops where I managed to find a New Look T-shirt £1.50 and a pair of Next Linen cropped trousers £3.50.  We then wandered round the market and managed to buy £30 of assorted fresh meat and   .  We're now off to Queenies (Mum) for dinner, which is some lovely porterhouse steak, chips, onion rings and salad!

Where has the time gone  since I last blogged?  I've been spending lots of time in the garden and catching up with jobs indoors that we started when we moved in 2 years ago.

I thought it was about time I showed this card off.  Its one I made about 3 weeks ago and not had chance to post  until now.  So whilst I'm being lazy and lying in  with my lappy, I thought it was the ideal time to post 

I seem to be making a lot of sympathy cards just lately, this being the second one and I still have a third to show yet!  I followed the fab sketch from Deconstructed Sketch ....

... I turned the sketch 90 degrees ...
