A Fab Day, Cute Card Thursday Challenge 32 & Papertake Weekly ~ Frightful but Delightful
Gosh I've had such a productive day today. Did those 4 cards for DH's brother this morning, then this afternoon I've managed to make Rylee's halloween cards to send to family and close friends, 16 in all! I'm also going to enter this into Cute Card Thursday's Challenge 32 ~ Autumn (Fall).
Edited to include the Halloween Challenge #22 at "A Spoon Full of Sugar" We would love you to create a card using the theme of Halloween. I think this one passes for that!
I like to add a photo to these card so that family and friends that dont live close can still see how he's growing. CS ~ stash, DP ~ Shabby Princess, holiday sampler, cobwebs ~ Magnolia Fall stamp, spider ~ Home Bargains (part of the glow in the dark spiders web with 12 spiders, only wanted the spiders! 59p). We ended up taking millions of photos before we got this one! The other generally looked like this.....
Also going to enter this card into the Papertake Weekly Challenge ~ Frightful but delightful.....

Papertake Weekly Challenge
This weeks challenge is to make a card using the sketch below, which is another one of Katharina's.
Fae and Scott are off to a wedding on Saturday and they asked me to make a card for the occasion, so I thought it'd use Katharina's fab sketch to do that. Here's is my interpretation...
CS ~ stash, pp ~ dont remember where I downloaded it from sorry! Image was part of a RAK, blooms and brads ~ stash and sentiment is a stamp that I've had forever and have no idea where it came from! I coloured the image using watercolour pencils and H2O's and added some glamour dust to the centre of the flower.
I used Raspberry Road Designs ~ My Baby Love, Girl printed directly on to CS from Crafts Central, its the linen look card. I embellished with gems, hearts and flowers and added ribbon so that it could be tied up like this ....
I made the flowers using 2 flower punches and then added punched leaves. Then, to finish it all off I made a little box to put it in...
I never know how much to charge for the cards I make and I'm definately thinking I've underpriced myself on this one ~ £4!
He's going to be really pleased we're his grandparents when he's a teenager, don't ya think lol!

Cool Dude!
We bought Rylee some baby sunglasses today, only because they'd been reduced from £8 to £2 and I can't resist a bargain! We tried them on him when he came back from nursery and was asleep, so he couldn't pull them off lol! They're really good they fasten at the back of his head with a velcro strap. Not sure how we're going to get on with them, but I think they're great and in the summer, if we have one, when he's on his trike we've got him for his birthday he'll look really cool!Thursday, 28 February 2008
Look what came today!
That' it I'm well and truly addicted to buying Rubber Romance stamps. Sorry about the naff photo, but I think you get the gist of it. I'm so impressed with the fast delivery from the USA and price that I've ordered some more! I can't wait till Saturday when I'm Rylee free and can play with them. Wanted to share Rylee's new trick with you that he learnt today.....
Couldn't you just eat him?
