I've woken up this morning with the most lovely cold sore .... hmmm, i wonder why i have one of those?! Perhaps its the lack of sleep and stress we've had of late lol! Just waiting for Sainsbury's to open so i can pop down to the Pharmacy and buy some magic cream for it. Have looked online for some home remedies, but dont fancy putting nail varnish remover or bleach on it :0
Last week there was a great sketch to follow created by Karin.
And Colour Create's Challenge is to create a card using PINK, ORANGE and GREEN.DP's ~ Shabby Princess ~ Shabby Mommy Kit
Image ~ one of the fantabulous images from the uber talented Mo, she has the most gorgeous images available to buy at her Etsy shop ... anyhow, she's been coloured in with Watercolour Pencils and Whisper Strokes, after a generous spraying of hairspray!
Gems and Pearl ~ Stash
Tools ~ Sewing Machine, Woodware Leaf Punch
Sentiment ~ Pink Petticoat Sentiments and Tags.
Lace ~ RAK from my VBFBF the gorgeous Diane
Once, i've finished stroking this card i've decided to give it my sister ... yeah she's still having trouble with the spawn of Satan that is her daughter Beth! The latest update is ... the police arrived at my sister's door last Saturday night ... we were happily chatting on the phone when 4 nice police officer's arrived in a riot van lol ... but so not funny! Cutting a long story short ... Sis asked me to go down, when we got there Police had both Beth and Dec in the van ... apparently so the story goes ... Dec was at pub getting sloshed with friends, Beth picked him up with her so called boyfriend/friend ... wound him up like a clockwork mouse all the way home ... dropped him at her ex-boyfriends where Dec was got out of car and let loose ... he got out like Tazmanian Devil ... arguments ... things thrown ... Police called ... Police tell Beth not to drive car again that night or it would be confiscated and she would be arrested ... wouldn't hand keys over so I got in car ... very nearly got arrested cos they thought i was gonna drive it! ... Police left knowing that Beth caused trouble not Dec ... arguments ensued ... throwing of wheelie bin cos Andy (DH) had car key ... locked in bathroom for hour and half ... Andy outside door trying to reason with ... Dec extremely drunk, crying on sofa ... Beth comes downstairs ... squares up to me, her nose touching mine ... i did same back to her ... she not like and walks out ... sit with Sis for another hour until Beth comes back ... quiet most of week cos not got car ... stays out all night Wednesday ... car booked in Saturday morning to have new clutch, cos its karput! Andy gives back ignition fuse so that car can be started and taken to garage ... not clutch costing £160, but gear box costing £580! ... only cost £600, so told to come home and see about scrapping ... not seen since lol! Road tax runs out midnight Saturday ... AWOL! (didn't return home)
Update: Sunday morning Beth still not home ... we have now got to sit and watch it all fall apart around her ... the self destruct button has well and truly been pressed and there appears to be nothing we can do!
