I made this for our neighbours daughter. When we moved here she was only 3 years old and now at 25 she's moving out to live with her boyfriend. Its going to be odd not seeing her every evening when she comes home from work with a little wave through our lounge window. She's not going far though ... just around the corner from Fae's house, so i'm sure we'll still be seeing her around plenty!

Missed 2 Challenges Again ...

Happy weekend everyone ... thank god its Saturday, once i've caught up with the chores that i couldn't do whilst Rylee was here and finished helping hubby lay a new bathroom floor, perhaps i can get some crafting done! This week has been a particularly hard one for me ... i hate earlies week! Rylee gets dropped off at 8am and then isn't collected till 4.45pm ... it seems such a long, tiring day. Where did all my energy go?

I made a few cards last week once the little treasure was having his afternoon nap ... thank God for those 2 hours every afternoon, i'm sure thats the only thing that keeps me sane LOL! As i say i made these cards but, didn't schedule posts for them which is what i generally do during early week. So once again i have missed the challenges ....

I made this card for Bethany ... one of my pet names for her is "B" the other is "Betty Boo" but thats cos of her surname (Boocock) poor child but at least she has the chance to change it when she marries, unlike her brother LOL! She's back home and has been since just before Christmas ... things aren't back to how they were before, but she's trying which is all anyone can ask for. She has boyfriend who's in the army and older (she's 19 next month he's 25), so hopefully he'll help her find her way back. Up to now, he's been a good influence on her so long may it continue!

Its flippin' freezin' here today. It's not stopped snowing since very early this morning and i've had to abandon my car down the road! I know i shouldn't have been going out in it, but i need to pay some bills and you know what its like time was running out on me, so it was either go today or tomorrow. I thought it was better today than struggling with whatever we have overnight and in the morning. The main roads around here are passable with caution, but our road hasn't seen any grit for the past week or so and with the grit boxes empty it doesn't look like they will for awhile either! Total madness when you live on a hill and in a village made up of hills. We had 2 road closures this morning, both of them main access routes into the village which left just one way in and out ... down a bloomin' big hill! My problems started when i pulled into our street ... just couldn't get enough momentum so ended up doing a turn in the road and trying from the other end! Got 6 doors away for our house before i started sliding down the road sideways ... not fun! I did however manage to park up straight and just abandoned the car ... in gear and with bricks behind the wheels LOL! And that's where its stopping for now!

Another Missed Mojo Monday #120 ~ Contest

Once again i've missed the deadline for posting my card! I really must be more organised and post my cards once i've taken the photo and uploaded it onto my PC.

Well, its another bloomin' cold morning here in the Midlands. We had snow over night and we have snow now ... which is a novelty for us really cos we've not had a lot at all! The roads are atrocious round here which isn't helped when you live on a hill LOL! There is talk of closing one of the main roads into the village as there has been 8 accidents just this morning! Fae managed to get down that road ... which is the only road access to her house! But couldn't get the car up our road so had to walk Rylee up ... not that he was bothered one bit. She did think that she'd got a good hours walk to work in the next village, but she managed to get the car there sticking to main roads and only going downhill LOL! Lets hope she can get back home!
