One of Hanna's Sketches and a Special Card for my Friend!

If you haven't come across Hanna's blog yet then let me tell you, you're missing a treat. Hanna is an uber talented 13 yr old girl. She makes the most adorable cards, using the most delicious embellishments ever! She has also designed some fantastic sketches, which is what i used to make the card below.
The card i've made using Hanna's sketch is an extremely special one. One that is for one of my dearest and oldest friends. A card that i hope conveys how i truly feel and one that gives the hope that we all need.

On Wednesday 23rd December, I had one of the worst phone calls you could ever have from my dearest, darling friend Suzie, telling me that she had lung cancer and not a lot of hope! Devastated, seems an inadequate word to describe how we all felt. She had been ill with pleurisy in October and hadn't seemed to be able to shift it completely, but this was not what we expected. Unbeknown to us, Suzie and her family knew that she would be tested for this but thought nothing would ever come of it. She's 40, she has far too much to live for, a gorgeous husband who worships her and 2 adorable sons (13 on Christmas Eve and 11). She's going for a pet scan on Tuesday and the poor love is petrified, so i made this card, to let her know we are thinking not only of her but of all of them. Hopefully, the results of this scan and the biopsy she had New Years Eve will give us a bit of hope. Although we have decided that we will not allow anything to happen to her!

The verse i used was a verse found on the internet about a Guardian Angel
