Have the Faith of a Bird ....

Yep, don't faint, I've made another card!  This one is for my very empty "just in case" box.

I saw this gorgeous image at Pollycraft which Paula is giving away FREE for anyone to use to enter her DT call competition.   Yep, they are extending their little Pollycraft family... Its been over a year since the last DT call and a few farewell's have been said since then ... so now looks like as good a time as any!

There is a choice of 2 images but i preferred the look of little old blue ...

I coloured him with my Pencil Crayons and Sansodor ...

To make this card I used :-

CS ~ Stash
DP's ~ Raspberry Road Designs ~ Love Bird Collection
Image ~ Pollycraft ~ Blue's Branch
Sentiment ~ Create with TLC
Flowers, Pearls & Ribbon ~ Stash
Tools ~ Pencil Crayons, Blending Stumps, Sansodor, Woodware Leaf Punch, Sewing Machine, Nesties, Cuttlebug Corner Die, Cuttlebug

Talking of birds, I gave breadmaking a whirl this week in my SLOW COOKER (Crockpot) and this is how it turned out ....

It was/is delicious too ... only have half of it left!  I was a bit dubious as to whether it was going to work but was pleasantly surprised by the outcome!

Smile It's Free Therapy ....

I have a sad girlie here, although she does seem to have cheered a little, unless she's hiding her hurt well!  After 18 months and talk of buying a house together our youngest daughter has been dumped unceremoniously by her cretin of a so called boyfriend cos he needs to be single to go on holiday with his mates to Ayia Napa next month .... hmmm wonder what horrible diseases he will return with (if we wish hard enough).

So to bring a smile back to her miserable face (which i might add she's had for the past 12 months, so clearly wasn't really happy with him anyhow) I made her a card to let her know we still love her!

I used a fab image from Maurie Manning called Two Jill who has a similiar face to Ellie's at the minute ...

... and I used a fab sketch from one of Claudia's cards ...

... to make this card I used :-

CS ~ Stash
DP's ~ Magnolia and Pink Petticoat Gingham
Image ~ Two Jill ~ Digital Pencil Too
Sentiment ~ Create with TLC
Pearls, Brad, Net Stuff & Button ~ Stash
Border ~ Paper Cellar Shaped Border Tape (cut in half)
Tools ~ Pencil Crayons, Sansodor, Blending Stumps, Sewing Machine, Carla Craft Corner Punch

Sketch Saturday Week #157 ~ Our 3rd Birthday!!!!

"Happy Birthday to Us!"
Sketch Saturday is 3 years old :)

By way of a personal thank you, Sketch Saturday challengers are invited to enter our personal blog candies! (our Party Bag Candy or PBC)

Some of the design team have put together a small package to say thank you to one of our challengers, please go to each blog and put your name down on the relevant post to be in with a chance of winning a PBC.

To keep it fair, there are a few rules that apply:

You are only eligible to enter each DT members party bag candy once, and ONLY if you've already taken part in this weeks challenge too (please provide a link to your work for each PBC you enter)

We want to thank sketch saturday challengers so this is why it's only open to SS entrants!

(we will be checking! and all entries that are not eligible will be deleted)

Each PBC will close on the DT members blogs at 8:00 AM (UK time) on Friday 3rd June, please note: FRIDAY MORNING. No entries will be accepted after this time, sorry.

This is so that the DT members can let me know their winner's name so that I can get the post ready for the following morning to announce the winners :)

However, the normal Sketch Saturday challenge (open to all who leave a link on this blog) will run until 11:59PM on the Friday evening as normal, so if you are too late for a PBC you can still win a super-amazing prize!

The sketch is the same for both obviously, so make your card/project and leave a direct link at the SS blog  so that you are eligible to win this weeks fabulous prize kindly donated by The Craft Barn, then, if you want to be entered into a party bag candy prize draw too giving you the chance to win an extra prize, leave the same link on the blog of the DT member too .... simples!

REMEMBER, as is normal with our challenges, please link back to us in your blog post and please leave only a DIRECT LINK to the post of your card/project, links to just your blog will not be accepted, so if you come back and notice that your entry has been deleted then that will be the reason why.

So, do you want to know what the fabulous prize is by The Craft Barn?  .... Well, we have a BUMPER PRIZE for this weeks challenge winner!

a HUGE THANKS go to Sandy and The Craft Barn for being so generous! xx
Before you rush off to make your entries, please take a little time to pay a visit to Sandy and her team, they have a wonderful craft extravaganza next weekend that they'd like to share with you...

There really isn't anything else quite like this on the crafting calendar!   so if you can get there, I urge you to go, you won't be disappointed :)

Sketch Saturday Maya's Challenge #154

This weeks sketch has been created by my talented teamie Maya ♥ and is sponsored by Tickled Pink Stamps!

Here's a bit of info from our sponsor;

Tickled Pink Stamps first started out as Magnolia Down Under in 2009,
but in April 2010 Magnolia Down Under was taken over to Tickled Pink Stamps
and supplied a larger range of stamps. What was the reason for this?
I am Kellie the owner and founder of Tickled Pink Stamps
and when I first started stamping I fell for anything and everything Magnolia,
I had to have them.
While I still share the same love for them to this day,
I started to see more amazing stamps by talented designers world wide
and I just had to share them around Australia and this is how Tickled Pink Stamps was born,
aiming to be Australia's No. 1 Stamp supplier of all things cute and Tickled Pink....
Tickled Pink Stamps now has their VERY own range of cute
and They are a tad different from the normal cute but we all LOVE to be different and stand out,
and these amazing designs will make any creation GORGEOUS!
You can see all the newest products available by clicking HERE

Kellie is so generous, she is offering this weeks winner
their own choice of 2 Tickled Pink Digi Stamps!!!

So, here is Maya's fab sketch ...
