Sketch Saturday Challenge #164

Good Morning folks on a very damp, dreary day here in the UK!  What has happened to our sunshine?  I suppose at least one good thing will come out of today's downpour .... no watering of the veg patch tonight!

I've had yet another action packed week here this week.  Another week of GP and hospital appointments, this time not only for Dad but for me too ... We managed a family day out at the hospital the beginning of the week with Dad having a CT scan, my niece and myself having a blood test ... surely there are better places for a family day out LOL!!!!

Have the Faith of a Bird ....

Yep, don't faint, I've made another card!  This one is for my very empty "just in case" box.

I saw this gorgeous image at Pollycraft which Paula is giving away FREE for anyone to use to enter her DT call competition.   Yep, they are extending their little Pollycraft family... Its been over a year since the last DT call and a few farewell's have been said since then ... so now looks like as good a time as any!

There is a choice of 2 images but i preferred the look of little old blue ...

I coloured him with my Pencil Crayons and Sansodor ...

To make this card I used :-

CS ~ Stash
DP's ~ Raspberry Road Designs ~ Love Bird Collection
Image ~ Pollycraft ~ Blue's Branch
Sentiment ~ Create with TLC
Flowers, Pearls & Ribbon ~ Stash
Tools ~ Pencil Crayons, Blending Stumps, Sansodor, Woodware Leaf Punch, Sewing Machine, Nesties, Cuttlebug Corner Die, Cuttlebug

Talking of birds, I gave breadmaking a whirl this week in my SLOW COOKER (Crockpot) and this is how it turned out ....

It was/is delicious too ... only have half of it left!  I was a bit dubious as to whether it was going to work but was pleasantly surprised by the outcome!

Smile It's Free Therapy ....

I have a sad girlie here, although she does seem to have cheered a little, unless she's hiding her hurt well!  After 18 months and talk of buying a house together our youngest daughter has been dumped unceremoniously by her cretin of a so called boyfriend cos he needs to be single to go on holiday with his mates to Ayia Napa next month .... hmmm wonder what horrible diseases he will return with (if we wish hard enough).

So to bring a smile back to her miserable face (which i might add she's had for the past 12 months, so clearly wasn't really happy with him anyhow) I made her a card to let her know we still love her!

I used a fab image from Maurie Manning called Two Jill who has a similiar face to Ellie's at the minute ...

... and I used a fab sketch from one of Claudia's cards ...
