Thinking of You .....

Well, we got snow last night and we've just spent the last hour clearing our road so that we can get Rylee to school this afternoon!  Fae managed to drop him off at the top of the road and then walked down with him.  Eloise, is on her way home from work now after getting snowed in at the airport last night at 11.00pm ... talk of the devil and she drives down the road LOL!  Thats one less worry.

This card was made for our neighbours, Lynn and Ben, who are having a bad time at the minute and i just wanted to let them know that we're here for them.

This little beauty has to be one of my favourites at the minute and she ... cos she is a SHE ... reminds me of our cat Peaches (that was).

Gift Wallet

I made these little gift wallets to give the outlaw's as part of their birthday pressie off of us.  Andy's parents are huge fans of Harry Potter and with the release of the new film in between both of their birthdays (15th & 28th) it seemed the ideal present for them.

Inside The Laughing Cow!

I finally managed to get the inside of the laughing cow box finished last night whilst sat in front of the TV watching I'm A Celebrity .... does anyone else wanna punch Gillian Mckeith or is it just me?!

Anyway, on to nicer things ...

... I've made this gorgeous bracelet, wired every single bead by hand ... all 114 of them and attached them to the charm bracelet with jump rings.  I brought the beads and bracelet from ebay ... a fantastic seller who has a vast array of beads and other stuff that you'd need for jewellery making ... here ... all at the most reasonable prices ... would you be shocked if i said that the whole thing cost £2.37, obviously not including P&P which was a couple of quid, but i'd order a lot of other stuff too

Sweet Tooth Makes ....

I'm back to playing catch up again it appears, having no time at all to do the things i most n
need to do!  I have loads of photos on my laptop of creations and cards but haven't yet found the time to show them off ... well apart from on Facebook LOL!

My friend asked me to make this ...

I think its really effective.  To make it I used one box of 16 Ferrero Rocher's  {although one of those got eaten by Rylee LOL}, ribbon from my stash, an old plastic plant pot from my Dad's greenhouse, tissue paper from my stash and some wooden skewers that were pence from Morrisons in the summer.  The tools used to make it where ... round scalloped nesties and a hot glue gun.

Now this was my first attempt at Turkish Delight, not sure how good/bad it was cos i hate the stuff LOL!

I made a little envelope and used a very fitting freebie sentiment from Create with TLC.  I always manage to find the right sentiment for my projects.  Paulette manages to come up with the most amazing sayings and sentiments.

This is the back of the envelope with my personalised digi stamp on the back.  Made by the one and only Paulette.  They are available to buy for just $2.50 each from here

Just when you think that there is nothing else that can go wrong, it does!  Tuesday my favourite Uncle had a stroke.  As yet we're not sure on the severity of it, only that it was a clot rather than a bleed.  At present he has lost the use of his right side and his speech is a little hard to understand.  We want to make him a gift basket, but have no idea what to put in it, so any ideas would be gratefully received! x

Another Christmas Card ...

So much for the day off decorating yesterday!  There was a bare wall staring at me in the bedroom each time I went upstairs .... well, what is a girl to do when you have wallpaper, paste, scissors and brush at hand?  I didn't manage to finish it though cos I had to watch Strictly, X factor and Downton Abbey!!!

I've done nothing today either as far as decorating goes ... However, I have made 2 curries (long exasperating story involving DD), a sweet & sour chicken which is bubbling away in the slow cooker ... wanted to type hot-tub ... how odd :/  LOL!  And I've made Pumpkin & Cinnamon Cupcakes for dessert tonight.

We're being graced with Fae and Rylee's presence again all this week for dinner.  Scott is spending another week working away in Scotland and she's sort of decided that she wants Mum's home cooking ... for a second week ... only 1 week left to do LOL!

When i did have time to take a breath over the weekend I produced this ....

... not many more to make LMAO ... this is my 5th I think!
