Special Kind Of Lady ... Sketch Saturday Challenge #190

I scheduled this post, cos right now this minute, I'm running round the house like a headless rooster smiley making sure Ellie has everything packed in the cars or van ready to take to her new home dancing smiley.  She's signing the paperwork at 9:00am this morning laughing,  if she can drag her sorry ass out of bed for a change!  The only 9:00 she sees daily, is the PM one.  No doubt if we're not running around like headless rooster smiley's, we'll be standing around propping up a wall whistle smiley.  I'm not quite sure what she plans on taking with her, or how long for that matter, she thinks this is going to take, but she's roped in 9 family members to help move a double bed and mattress, bookcase, clothes and 2 cars full of boxes (our car being one of them, which has been packed ready to go since my return from the hairdressers at 5:30pm) big grin.  I'm convinced she think's we're going to miss her ... but it'll be hard to miss someone who is argumentative, always right, knows it all and has to have the last word raised eyebrows .... not to mention the mess and extra laundry she creates ... so, you must excuse me if I don't shed a crying as we wave her goodbye.  We are prayer smiley that this total independence will be the making of her and she will turn into a lovely, caring young lady ... she has the potential to be that person, she's just not there yet!

  1. Hope all goes well with the move, certainly seems like there will be a lot of people to move the stuff lol. Fab card as well. I agree it is difficult to miss a disruptive person to start with but you will eventually lol. Hope that she turns into the lovely person you know she can be. Hugs, Amanda xx

  2. This is just beautiful. As always. You rock. Hope all goes well with the move today. xxx

  3. LOL! I had to giggle reading your post :)
As you know, Emma left home but came back after 3 months, telling me she loved the independence so would be looking to move out again ASAP.
2 years on i'm still waiting to get my craft room back...... *taps foot*

Hope Ellie loves her independence too.

Enjoy the P&Q, i'm so jealous! xx
