Papertake Weekly Challenge ~ Button it!

This week's challenge is to use a button or buttons on your project! If you don't have any buttons you could try drawing one freehand, making one with chipboard etc!

I used this challenge to make a card for a friend of mine who I just found out has been in hospital for a couple of days with suspected meningitis. So, I've made a bright cheery card and am in the process of putting together a "Get Well Basket" with tissues, chicken soup, a cup, a tea bag, coffee sachet, horlicks sachet and a cappuccino sachet, orange juice, muffins, a magazine and good old chick flick. If i get chance to take a photo of it before I visit I'll post it on here later. Anyway, back to the card...

CS ~ stash, DP ~ Shabby Princess, ribbon, blooms and buttons ~ stash, image ~ rak from Jo coloured with watercolour pencils. The verse inside says "...you're feeling unwell! So because you're feeling poorly this card is sent to say, hope you're feeling better soon in every single way.

  7. Hiya Jilli,

I'm so sorry I've not been around lately, been so busy with the kids I've not had much time for blogging. Wow!!! you've been a busy little crafter and some gorgeous creations you've made too. Thanks for the tag btw, as soon as I think of anything remotely interesting about myself I shall get around to doing it.

As for those tri-fold cards. I use to pieces of A4 cardstock, trim about 2 inches off the long end, score and fold in half to make a 5 1/2 inch square card, then just stick them together. Hope that has made sense.

oooops, nearly forgot, if you pop by my blog, there's something there for you xx vicki xx
